Dianella definitely exceeded my expectations. The calm and coziness of the surroundings was what I probably enjoyed the most, maybe together with the fresh wine and grapes smell in the morning. The estate is carefully designed and taken care of. A special note for the breakfast which had quality ingredients, well above what I am used to in a 4* hotel's continental breakfast. From Dianella wines we particularly liked Le veglie di Neri. Having a wine fridge in the rooms was a nice touch. The staff was always careful and helpful, particularly Nicola, he always took the time and carefully support all the guests.

WOW! Spazzavento was the highlight of our long trip in Italy and we could not have been more satisfied with our stay here. We highly recommend booking a wine tour with Daniele. They offer great recommendations for exploring the surrounding area although we decided to relax by the pool with some of their fantastic wine. Daniele and his family were very accommodating and welcoming. We were impressed by their commitment, care and passion for sustainable wine making which were equally well reflected in the excellent quality of their wines. The pool and gardens were very well maintained and we enjoyed the relaxing and private feel of our stay. The pool also offers fantastic views of the rolling hills and vineyards of Tuscany. Finally we thought that our stay here was exceptional value for money, we only wish we could have stayed here longer!

The whole experience was even better than I expected. Lorenzo and Eva run a beautiful property! If you like being immersed in nature, surrounded by trees, plants, flowers, bees and butterflies, and enjoy the smell of lavendar, rosemary, and jasmine, then this is the place for you. We didn't hire a car, which was recommended, but we didn't find a lack of one a problem. There was just so much to enjoy all around us, from the incredible tuscan scenery, to walks through the olive groves, and the little town of Vinci. A very pretty pool area, and with the unusually hot weather, it was a godsend - a lovely place to swim and relax. We also really enjoyed a very substantial breakfast served every morning under the shade of the trees. As I said, if you love nature, peace and quiet, then I can't recommend La Gioconda more highly!!
