This property is very exceptional and if you are looking for a hotel near the airport, this is the place for you. Room and bathroom were clean, comfy and spacious. We loved the proper duvet (very rare in Italy). The surrounding gardens were so relaxing and you feel like being home away from home. Breakfast was delicious, we had an early flight and they prepared breakfast to go the next day. They can also organize shuttle to the airport. You can take bus no 5 to Venice (about 20min). If you look for a reasonably priced food options near the hotel, Colors Pizzeria highly recommended.

The property is just outside Tessera. The bus stop to Mestre is outside the main gate, the bus stop to Venice a 5-minute walk away.

We stayed at the hotel for a stopover. I was amazed by the exceptional quality of the hotel be it inside or out. The staff were amazing. We got to Marco Polo airport at 11pm called for the shuttle and they were there within 10 minutes to pick us up. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we had limited time but overall we were very impressed. Would definitely stay again next time.

The location was great, Very easy to reach from Venice by vaporetto in 30 min. The island itself was a lovely quiet agricultural oasis. The breakfast was amazing, delicious, ample, prepared with care, healthy, and beautifully presented. This was my second stay at the Agriturismo Basego, and I will for sure return. This place is really beautiful! We loved the charm of it, the quitness but also easy to access the town and Venice by a taxi or bus. It was a nice escape after the hot and busy afternoons walking around and being in this peaceful environment was the rest needed.
