Everything from the staff to the food! We had just the most wonderful experience arriving in a thunderstorm and leaving in sunlight with the montain all around us. The kids loved the playground and the animals. 3 kids aged 6-10 walked with us for a very easy hike for one and half hour with no complaints as there was so much to see and experience! I had accidently somehow forgot one child in the booking (as u do🙈) but they were really nice about it!!

We spent a great week at quiet and serene Burgerhof. Beautifully located in a valley up in the Sarntal, it is the perfect starting point for numerous trips, exploring the Sarntal itself, the neighbouring valleys, especially the dolomites, and South Tyrol‘s picturesque towns.
The hosts are extremely kind and helpful, offering some great tips - for hiking trips, restaurants and sight seeing tours.
The Burgerhof offers a variety of amenities and activities, including a small lake to swim in, cute animals and fresh eggs.

For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
The mountain view from the balcony is exceptional. The house basically lies on a private road, making it very relaxing and quiet. The owners have a farm as well. You will occasionally see then working on the farm, which is interesting and just lovely.
Family farm. This is not a sterile accommodation in a hotel chain, but at a farm a few centuries old. Do expect to meet a dog, chickens and funny kitties in front of the house. And that panoramic view from the balcony!
Location was on mid mountain, overlooking terraced vegetables and town below. Paved single lane road was winding with shaded trees overhead leading to heritage farm. Apartment is spa like, with rainhead shower, chic euro kitchen and double opening windows featuring remote shade shutters. Quiet doors and floors! Everything brand new and sparkling clean.
Located on a high mountain around Bolzano and overlooking Bolzano city at a glance, the surrounding German village is similar to Ortisei, the hotel is surrounded by hotel-family farms [vineyards, poultry farms, wheat fields, etc.], I bought rye bread made from wheat grown at the hotel and ate it, and it was delicious because it was the organic bread I wanted. The eggs are also organic. The whole family runs the farm and the hotel together, staying in this hotel gives you an organic feel.
