We had a great time at Serra San Biagio! It is quiet and peaceful, but also well connected to the beach and nearby towns (you'll need a car though). The views are magnificent - the property is on a hill overlooking the sea and the gardens, and there is a great view of Mount Etna as well. The restaurant at the property is very good, we were particularly impressed by the pizza! The staff is friendly and helpful. The property is quite big, so there are always available parking spots. A very nice beach is only 7 minutes drive away, the town Fiumefreddo is very close as well. It's also a convenient location to visit Mount Etna (the common meeting points for the Etna tours are less than an hour drive away).

The Agriturismo is located between the Fiumefreddo and Giardini Naxos motorway exits. Calatabiano Railway Station is 300 metres away. You can drive to the nearest beach in 5 minutes.

We loved our stay at this charming agriturismo. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Francesca and her mother were extremely pleasant, helpful, and delightful. The views of Mt Etna and other hilltop towns were spectacular. The breakfast was excellent and we were lucky enough to stay on a Saturday night where we could reserve a spot for the Sicilian dinner - a well deserved meal after our climb to Mt Etna's summit crater. Walking through the beautiful garden with lemon, orange, and olive trees while soaking in the sun and views was relaxing. The agriturismo is well situated to other must see attractions like Mt Etna and Taormina, but you'll need a car to get to the property. Francesca and her mother recommended going to Bronte for the Pistachio Festival and it was a wonderful experience.

The photos did not do it justice! It’s so magical. We loved the distant view of the ocean, and of Taormina, and there are olive groves, orange and lemon groves, horses off in the distance. We watched Mt Etna erupt one night. The property itself is a renovated old farm house that is so perfect, with a little kitchen and everything you would need to cook with and a full sized fridge. The bedrooms are huge, with full wardrobes, and tons of shelves and surfaces to set everything on.
