It had a tropical rustic feel to it. It is a home stay model, so there is a few villas on one property. The food was home cooked food rather than “restaurant” food which I really enjoyed. The property is literally on the river bank so has an excellent location. There is an option for a 3 hour boat ride from the property or kayaking, they can also arrange airport pick up and drop off.

Loved the vibe at the hostel. A rustic dutch home turned hostel, it retains the beauty of the original decor, which is added to by the hosts. Amir is especially very attentive and helpful with all the details and helps for any information you would need. He also went a step ahead and picked me up from the bus stop. Only because of him I was able to witness Theyyata.

Echo all the previous reviews - Jay was so kind and helpful: sorting trips, giving advice and ensuring I got the right bus. Lovely sociable area on the beach - met some other lovely travellers; lovely rustic place; beautiful sunset.

Location is great: just by the beach⛱️ It's a simple and rustic dorm-bed. Jay is the man, always willing to help and organising some good night gatherings. Wifi has a good signal.
