The Oregon Coast Aquarium is less than 15 minutes’ drive away. The room was great and the kitchen very well equipped. The view of the beach was fantastic. You could lie in bed and watch the ocean. The staff recommended restaurant in Newport was very good, fresh fish, fresh vegetables and rice.

The rooms are quaint and tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds and a very quiet temperature control system in them. The owners really go the extra mile to make sure your stay is wonderful. The Breakfast alone makes it better than the other National Brand Hotel Chain options in town with a wonderful variety of breakfast selections all freshly prepared and delicious. The history of the house is also fun to find out about. That being said, I am glad we stayed here in 2022 rather than 1875,

Located within less than 1 km of Big Stump Beach and 1.9 km of Yachats Beach, Overleaf Lodge and Spa provides rooms in Yachats. The property is around 8.6 km from Cape Perpetua Scenic Area, 23 km from Heceta Head Lighthouse and 25 km from Sea Lion Caves. Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a sea view. We booked on of the suites and the view was stunning. We watched a pod of whales for over the two days we were there. I slept on the sofa bed and it was super comfortable; a proper mattress. Having our own kitchen was super helpful for food allergies and Covid. The separate bedroom with ensuite was spacious and comfortable. We couldn't ask for a better stay. Our suite came with a tub in the room overlooking the ocean and its well worth the money for that extra. The balcony is also spacious. We took advantage of hot tub overlooking the ocean. Its free, completely lovely, just reserve ahead of time.

There’s a short hike beside a mossy stoned creek that takes you up to private waterfall with a treehouse suite that is available to rent. The breakfast we were served in the morning was outstanding.
