The spa tub and shower were both huge and we loved them. It was nice that the toilet area had a separate door for extra privacy, which was helpful while we were both getting ready for a wedding. We loved the fireplace and all the extra touches provided. We were pleasantly shocked the available DVD choices in the DVD library! So many new releases and popular movies. It felt as comprehensive as a Blockbuster, and honestly better than any options in a single streaming service. This hotel is low key, while also being perfect for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed the general vibe of the grounds, and the bunnies. I saw a review before booking that someone felt like the hotel was like summer camp for adults, and I completely agree, but in the best way!

The Oregon Coast Aquarium is less than 15 minutes’ drive away. What a perfect place for a road trip stop! Perfect location, so easy to go for a leisurely walk on the beach. The rooms are comfortable and very quaint. Everything was clean and just lovely. Highly recommend.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, HISTORICAL JOHN RAST HOUSE circa 1875 is a guest house set in a historic building in Roseburg, 17 km from Wildlife Safari. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. John Rast’s house - a place with history - excellent dive into American history, wonderfully preserved / restored house from 1875 with original interior; Cherri and Mike were wonderful hosts telling the story about the house and its original owners, but they were also sincerely interested in their guests and their background. Great breakfast made by Cherri and Mike, and despite the age of the house, the facilities like bathroom, plumbing and electricity were far above what you get in other hotels. Mike did a high-class job on the renovations which you rarely even find at a luxury resort! We regret that we only stayed for a night but will definitely come back when we get to Oregon again. By the way - Oregon is my new must go destination! Totally underestimated, with so much to see, it doesn’t fit into a single week of vacation.
