The room was perfect for the 4 of us and the staff was incredible. So friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial is 30 minutes’ drive from the motel. This motel exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved the retro style. It was spotless. And I mean SPOTLESS. Bed very comfy and staff lovely. And on top of that the location was right in the centre. If we ever go back to Custer, we are absolutely staying there again.

Originally constructed as Lead's town hall in 1912, the ornate building held many functions, including the mayor's and treasurer's office, court room, jail, judge's chambers and even gallows, which were directly behind the building.
