Hans and Anita met us when we arrived and showed us the property, telling stories about the history of the building. It was adorable, cozy, comfortable, and absolutely perfect! The kitchen has all conveniences including coffee and spices. The large jacuzzi bath was much appreciated. The bedrooms were great and the beds were the most comfortable we had slept in in 5 weeks. There was excellent hiking around a nearby lake. We wish we could have extended our trip.

Bright, Scandinavian décor is featured in all rooms at Hotell Valsaren, along with a fridge, microwave and electric kettle. Each has a flat-screen TV and tiled bathroom with underfloor heating. The place was really nice. It was a little bit further from the city center, but still a 15-minute walk. The close neighborhood has almost no services, but as I've said before, it is a 15-minute walk to the center. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. WiFi was working perfectly and the personnel was really kind.

It was clean behind the TV and under the bed ;-) And the owners from Skultuna were great!!! We had a very very good contact with them! The room was very big; and the food was delicious!
