Sällinge House - Cozy Villa with Fireplace and Garden close to Uppsala is a recently renovated villa in Uppsala, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The property has garden views and is 7.1 km from Uppsala Konsert & Kongress and 7.8 km from Linneaus museum. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We chose the rainiest days of the summer to stay at the house, but I’m glad we did! The house is lovely, large and comfortable. It has a smart tv with all the streaming services and even loads of English tv channels. Wifi is also great for doing some work. Beds were extremely comfortable (and we’re quite critical). But what made our stay even more great was that Johan went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He brought us a large umbrella, gave us tips on local sights and his wife even brought us homemade pasties. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Akademihotellet’s fresh rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom and desk. Many feature high ceilings with large windows, while some also offer views of the cathedral. This is a lovely hotel in a charming and well kept building. The staff at reception were particularly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and attractive and very comfortable and the location in town was just great -- in the charming old section very near to the cathedral and other attractions. All at an excellent price!
