Yes, it is expensive to stay with you, but we could not have asked for a more perfect visit. At the end of every busy day, it felt like we were coming home to Mamma's delicious nutritious dinner. Great family hotel, it has a table tennis, gaming console and movie room, as well as a play room for the youngest, They have a small pool maybe 5x8m that you can book for an hour at a time. Our kids had great fun in there, plus an amazing breakfast buffe with hot and cold options, as well as a special kids table with Swedish pancakes! There is a good little gym to for adults if you get the time.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is near the train station. It is very kid-friendly, and there is a playroom for the children that saved us from many boring hours with our son.
LOVE this hotel. 2nd time we have stayed at Downtown Camper (as a family). Great facilities. Great location. Great family property. Great restaurant & bar. Breakfast SUPERB! Friendly, fun staff. Loved this hotel! We got a beautiful corner room with a view over Uppsala which was amazing. The room was much larger than I was expecting and very stylish. Rooms were clean. Received a baby crib that broke but we got a new one immediately when we asked. staff was helpful and nice. The breakfast was really good with a wide selection for adults and kids. Location is excellent with just a short walk from Central Uppsala and also just right next to the train station.
The place was very cozy, clean, and the staff were friendly. They made sure to have a complete vegan breakfast for our family, with fresh baked bread. Great for families too, the hosts are fantastic with small children.
Very good hotel, we booked a family room, what was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. The children slept on a sofabed, we had an excellent large bed. No separate rooms, kids slept around the corner. Breakfast was very good. Hotel right next to metro stop. Big hotel with a lot of guests, but very quiet at night. You only notice at breakfast how many guests there are. But no problem, buffet is big enough and excellent service.
Hotel allowing to have an unusual journey in Stockholm, kids and I loved it! Close to everything, you can reach the subway and Gamla Stan after a 10 min walk. Room as described, common bathroom functionnal and clean, excellent price quality offer for a 3-night stay. People very welcoming and helpful. Generous breakfast buffet to start the day!
We are muslim family with small children. The location is fantastic. Very near to cafe, souvenirs shops and 5min walk to metro. Do not worry about sharing toilet or shower room. It is very clean and privacy. Not a problem at all. The kitchen also well equipped. The staff also vey helpful. You can store your luggage after check out and they let you use the toilet/ shower room and even the common area when you pick the luggage. Very thoughtful since we travelling with children.
