The owner responded promptly and the instructions were very clear. In the yard is a very good location to watch and photograph the aurora. We were very lucky to catch the aurora explosion, which was very shocking. It is very cold at night in winter, and you can go back to the house to warm up immediately after watching the aurora. The view is very good, and the scenery on the other side of the window is also very good. It takes ten minutes to walk to the seaside. It is a quiet and comfortable town. It takes about half an hour to drive to Hasten/Segla and hike, and about 50 minutes to the viewing point along the way to Senja Island, but the scenery on the road is very good and the location is very convenient.

Located close to Finnsnes, it was perfect for us because we needed to do some groceries. The place was very clean, had everything we needed 😊 Everything is new there, we really liked the style of the house. We would definitely stay here again!

The room is decorated in a warm and cozy manner, exceeding my expectations. If I come to Senja again, I will definitely book here again.

The place is incredible, the house so nice and well equipped , Katherin the host is very sympathetic and be there for all what we need , you could get with extra jacuzzi, sauna with a amazing view

Located in Gibostad in the Senja region, Elvestua features a patio and river views. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The holiday home has an outdoor fireplace and a sauna. Tommy did his best to accommodate his guests. U could sense all lovely details in every corner of this authentic house(thank you for the Xmas deco!). We particularly enjoyed the outdoor wood-burning BBQ house, well equipped kitchen/sauna, music instruments such as piano and guitar(our kids love this!), nordic ski/snowshoes gear arrangement and plus the beautiful large-size woodburner in the house. These add extra charm during our stay. On top of that, this house is secluded in nature, surrounded by mountains/river and a lake. That was the main reason why we booked here. Every single day you just want to stay "home" to feel the nature and the absolute seclusion feeling. On the New Year's Eve, tsk to Tommy's suggestion, we celebrated the firework show together with the local folk from Finnsnes. On the new year day, we did a 3h power walk/hike through the river and woods with our snowshoes and ski. It was perfect to feel the day one of the year with this beautiful nature. Highly recommended.

Set in Senjehesten, this seafront cottage in Senja offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi and uninterrupted views of the impressive sea landscape. The property is 65 km from Finnsnes. From September to March, the Northern lights can be seen at the property's living room or outside. Amazing cottage, very warm and cosy with all amenities you will need. We were very lucky and we saw the Northern lights 3 out of 4 nights right outside the cottage. Would definitely recommend !
