Overlooking the plains, the spacious and rustic-style chalets have a fixed structure with canvas partitions. Each is equipped with a small patio, a shower, a fan, linen and towels. The locations was great, and we received an upgrade!

At At Kronenhof Campsites, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and specialises in Grill BBQ cuisine. We stayed at campsite #4, which had everything that we needed: a clean private bathroom with shower, toilet and warm water, electricity, lights, a big table with benches next to the braai area and a nice little swimming pool close by. The view, especially the sunrise and sunset, was amazing, and the homemade dinner in the restaurant was very delicious. Even WiFi was available at the main lodge.

The staff is excellent and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay (kudos specially to Paul on this). Food is also very good and quality and the kitchen staff make sure all your dietary requirements are considered.

Some units have a balcony and/or a patio with mountain or river views. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and also provided us with a hiking paths, one also for sunset watching. Being in the middle of nothing is great for star gazing.

Featuring air conditioning, Gondwana Namib Desert Lodge is located in Solitaire, 60 km North of Sesriem. The lodge includes an outdoor pool and guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.

Each unit is fitted with a private bathroom with a shower. Towels are featured. Great staff and excellent service, ebike rental, walking trails, breakfast and dinner buffet

Solitaire Mountain Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor pool, a garden and a restaurant.

The African themed rooms are fitted with air conditioning and offer views of the indigenous garden. The private bathroom comes with a shower and towels. Exotic and idyllic location in the middle of the desert. Helpful stuff! Has been nice relaxing in the pool after a day in the desert. Pictures surrounding. We enjoyed the cheetah game drive and the fat bike ride.
