This 150-year-old historical building, offers a charming blend of tradition and modern comfort for a memorable stay. Shogo, the owner, was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout my stay. He went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Not only did he provide excellent recommendations for local restaurants, but he also made reservations on my behalf. The location was nice and easy to find if you go by a car, with the added bonus of having an onsen and a supermarket nearby. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere.

They also decorated the guesthouse for Halloween, which was cute! :) We would love to stay here again! :D

There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers. Very clean and spacious room with modern amenities. Deer came right up to our window while we drank coffee in the morning. A truly special experience! (Plus there is a washing machine in the room 👍)

Renovating a Japanese-style private house with a 100-year history, Guesthouse Tamura offers an accommodation in Fushigazushi-cho, Nara. Kintetsu Nara Station is a 13-minute walk away, while Kasuga Taisha Shrine is a 20-minute stroll. I loved that she prepared the hot tub every night for everyone to use. Also the breakfast was really nice. Lovely place.

Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. Staff super friendly, you could pay to have breakfast which was really good: toast, eggs, juice, yogurt and coffee! The shared room was big and clean. Location: excellent It is an old house, so of course the wood would make nose, so just keep that in mind, the place would never be that silent. Really loved this hostel!
