Host had some food available from the pantry , cereals, coffee, pasta , water filter, washing supplies, plenty of towels. Washing, dryer machine was a great service to have for the family to clean clothes before we left. The fire stove was a very nice touch and kept the cottage super cozy. The house board Games of chess and checkers was fun, kids enjoyed. WiFi signal held up for being in a rural location. 2 Walk in wardrobes and plenty of storage was excellent.
From the very start, this place was a delight! I travelled with 2 older teenagers and was a bit worried about a lack of space, but it was perfect. Donncha gave us brilliant tips, and Castledarcy is a great base to explore the Burren. The Pods are cleverly designed, everything had its place and we didn't miss a thing. It was very quiet, and we felt safe all the time. Ideal for families with younger children. Beautiful touch to have scones and icecream waiting for guests upon arrival. I cannot wait to go back!
Excellent little retreat for a family getaway. We had 2 adults 2 kids and a baby and there was enough space for all of us. Great location for exploring Co. CLARE with excellent host and yummy Scones on arrival....we will be back.
The setting is fantastic, stayed 1 night for a family fun night away. It was exactly that. Children loved it. It was the novelty of glamping and it exceeded our expectations.
Room was quite comfortable and large which suited a small family. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and staff were very helpful, especially with the small children. Pool was nice and facilities were excellent.
Staff very friendly, its family run business a lovely welcome and very helpful. Breakfast was beautiful and perfect for young children, they have a TV in the breakfast area and put on peppa pig for the kids 😀 Very clean and very well kept. We'll be back
It was great to be able to book accommodation that catered for a family bigger than 2ad + 2ch! We have 3 kids and it’s so hard to find accommodation to suit. Our rooms were joined in one location of the house and we felt very safe that the children were beside us.
It was so homely. It was my 1st time in a house as opposed a hotel and I will definitely recommend highly to do so with a family of teenagers and young kids. The host was fantastic. It was home away from home for me which I just loved x
Beautiful cottage with everything you can ask for in a self catering accommodation. Ideal for family with kids. Children loved the play area at the back. Sheila and John are very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend a stay here.
