I had a nice view of the Liverpool skyline and could see big ships passing by. The bed was among the most comfortable that I've had in a hotel. Excellent!

Set in secluded surroundings, it is within 25 minutes’ drive of Chester and Liverpool and has easy access to the M53 and M56 motorways. It was a beautiful place so cosy and welcoming in every way. Staff were the best. The lady that cleaned the rooms was so supportive as I told her I was here to visit my very sick mother in hospital. She had the healing heart of an angel and gave me courage to face the day.

I travelled for a family funeral it was nice to have a quiet place to stay so close to everything.

We were greeted by the host, Marie , who was delightful. She had some delicious essentials for us on arrival....Milk, scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam, butter, eggs, biscuits, just to name a few...and was a real treat for us after our 6 hour journey. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. We also managed to see extended family for a birthday celebration and had 8 adults and 3 children in the kitchen. Overall, a great stay...wish we had more time. Thank you :)

Nestled amidst attractive gardens in the beautiful Wirral countryside, this luxury spa resort offers an extensive treatment menu, and Chester and Liverpool are just 15 minutes' drive away. the spa facilities are wonderful, the bedroom was huge, very comfortable room and bed. we had the best nights sleep in a very long time. although, the wifi didn’t reach the rooms or most of our corridor. when checking in, request a room with wifi access if it is important to you
