Loved the family room, double bed and 3 single beds in one room, being 5 it is not usually possible to get everyone in one room. The kids loved the breakfast and the table football. Also the fountain was a plus to have access to drinking water for the children.
The apartment is well furnished, in a great location and very kid-friendly (even with children's books ☺️)!
A lovely hotel of character, off the main roads which was very clean and comfortable and quiet (until we got there). The hosts were very tolerant of our travel worn over excitable children. The family room was absolutely perfect, spacious, comfortable and clean with a fridge and microwave and eating area, so would be good for families with babies. Family rooms were set around the central decked courtyard.
We had such a wonderful warm welcome from Marielle and her communication was fantastic even before we arrived. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the rooms and bathrooms, to the delicious breakfast. It was great that Marielle allowed us to use the dining table to feed our children at in the evening rather than already needing to take them out to a restaurant. I would thoroughly recommend Rêves et Rivières to families. It was great to be able to visit the town of Chinon nearby which was a beautiful place to walk around with the kids.
We have visited this hotel a few times over the last 5 years. Each time it gets better. There is a pool and so much to do for kids, it is a family orientated hotel who have done so much over the last few to improve facilities for parents travelling with children after perhaps driving long distances. There is a huge outdoor play area and now an indoor play room with Table tennis table and a pool table along with video games and board games it is fantastic!
Very clean and in order with all facilities exception made of laundry equipment (washing machine and ironing equipment). Enough space for my family size composed of a spouse with a child, a single mother with her 2 kids and myself. Quite convenient location as nearby restaurants, bank, supermarché, train station etc. and just 10 minute drive to the Beauval zoo.
Lovely old Abby. Friendly staff. Superb location. We stayed in a duplex family room. Lot's of fun. Comfortable main bed, however the secondary bed was a bit soft. All in all ideal for 1 night or max 2. The children loved it. Probably the best location in the town. Pet friendly too. Very happy overall, thank you.
We had an excellent stay on all levels! We were two families with small children and Antoine and Delia welcomed us warmly, took care of us, and went above and beyond to help us during our stay. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable, the location is excellent. Highly recommended!!
Very nicely furnished and equipped spacious and very clean appartement. Enough room for a family with 2 children. Details mentioned such as iron, Equipment for cooking ( including spices, tea, coffee and more for the first arrival). The private heart invested in furnishing and decoration is nicely to see and feel (in addition to the surprising former function of the appartment). Location is in the Center of the old town, close to the marketplace (parking lot) and church.
