This 19th-century hotel is located in the centre of beautiful Mont Dore, and makes a wonderful base for exploring the Massif du Sancy. During winter, a free shuttle can take you to the nearest ski slopes. The thermal centre is just 200 metres away. Centrally located with easy parking and its own beautiful garden to relax. It's easy to go for a stroll in the city, the funicular is 5 minutes walk away. We had initially booked a room on the 3rd floor but my husband had an injury in the meantime that would have made it complicated to take all the stairs so we called ahead to explain the situation and they were nice enough to find a solution to accommodate us so we could stay on the first floor instead. Great room with 2 separate spaces that was perfect for our baby to sleep quietly in his own space. Breakfast is all home-made and you have something for everyone. The breakfast room is also very pleasant.

Buffet and à la carte breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and fresh pastries are available daily at the bed and breakfast. At La Perle Secrète, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and cocktails and serves international cuisine. Wonderful and cozy place and wonderful owners 🥰, wonderful food. It was a real pleasure staying in this Chambre d’Hôtes, unfortunately only for one night. We would have been glad to pass here more time😊. Hope to come back soon.
