If you want to get away close to nature then this is a good spot. It has a Hunting lodge style with a good restaurant and bar beside a large veranda where you can watch the scenery, have a glass of wine and listen to nature. Rooms are rustic and comfortable. We had a small balcony to let us sit and watch over the valley. Staff are all very nice and cheerful. We had a half board package at a very reasonable price. The menu selection was good as was the food. Portions were very generous. There's a pack of tame geese to provide some entertainment and amusement when they go on parade around the artificial lake. You can travel to local nature spots but we just went on the local walk along the bank of the Guadalquivir. We saw some deer, jays, nutthatch, crossbills and terrapins. We could hear green woodpeckers calling but didn't get a glimpse. We only stayed two nights but there seems to be plenty to see for a longer trip. The views on the drive from Cordoba were pretty spectacular. It's a typical mountain drive with a good surface but a winding road with a long climb. The parking there is fine. We didn't use the pool but it looked good. The drive North along the river towards Murcia is pleasant also. So a very enjoyable stopover.

Tastefully decorated with local photography. Well outfitted for self catering, although there are countless options for dining out in the immediate area. It's quiet and the beds are perfect; we slept well. The location couldn't possibly be better, only a few minutes walk to all the major sites. Strong wifi. The hosts are exceptional. There are maps and plenty of information available in the apartment, but the hosts also take the time to describe the area in person and are immediately available to respond to any and all inquiries. On a scale of 1- 10 I'd give them a rating of about 27! Baeza Golden and hosts Mariela and Sergio exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Highly recommended without hesitation or reservation.

Owner positive approach when trying to find us a restaurant on Easter Monday. All members of staff were very assistant and helpful. Good atmosphere in the room. Nice location in Linares. Breakfast fine.

I highly recommend it and would return. Sabiote was a lovely village to explore.
