And welcome guests is what she does: could she order a taxi for me? Could she help with anything? What may be useful for arriving guests: it appears, subject to availability, she can arrange early check-in for those arriving in the AM who need a space to relax before moving on.

Overlooking the Danube River, this 4-star hotel occupies a 17th-century monastery in the historic Old Town of Hainburg. A sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin can be used free of charge. Bratislava is 15 km away. Very good property, very supportive team. The team member at the reception was very supportive throughout our stay with all our doubts.

Petronell Castle is a 5-minute walk away. The Hotel Marc Aurel is also a convenient base for excursions in the Donau-Auen National Park and for trips on the Römerradweg, Weinradweg and Neusiedlerseeradweg bike paths. The Neusiedl Family Park is 30 km away. lovely, quiet and friendly place and staff

Close to the Danube bike trail. Charming hostess. Little hiccup with air conditioning at the beginning but host made it right. Roman ruins nearby very interesting. Recommend.

Set in a quiet area away from the main streets, Pension Tennisweber is located in Schwechat, a 10-minute drive away from Vienna International Airport. It offers various sports facilities and en-suite rooms with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. As of summer of 2018, all rooms are newly equipped with a box spring bed and air conditioned. Free WiFi is available. Since I got there late, and was lucky to have phone service, called the host, and she let me in, despite even having an accidentally booked fo r the day ahead instead of that present day. I can’t thank her enough. Not sure what was put out for breakfast, as I left quite early. The room was great.
