You wouldn’t expect such a magnificent chalet experience in a city that sort of thing is normally reserved for luxury lodges on safari b ur the good folk at Amanzi have pulled it off. We very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff make this place wonderful - they are very friendly and welcoming and make it feel like a family home.
The accomodation is good with a comfortable bed, tv, bathroom with bath and hand held shower. It is a little dated but everything is clean. The shared kitchen is great. The gardens are absolutely stunning.
We had booked a family room via Booking.com, but the hotel had received instructions for one room. The staff were very helpful and managed to organise rooms to suit our family requirements, inclusive of breakfast for the kids. It's easy to travel into town and surrounding areas from the lodge. The pool was a bonus for the kids
