The environment around the property is very beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and facilities in the cabin were great. A few nice "treats" were left for us like wine and biscuits, as well as the complimentary coffee, sugar and tea (not that we had any of them but a nice touch nonetheless)

Belvidere Country Estate, hotel in Karkloof Nature Reserve

Belvidere Country Estate has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Karkloof Nature Reserve, 18 km from Karkloof Nature Reserve.

We loved everything about Belvidere. A lot of thought was definitely out into the design of the house and entertainment area. The pizza oven and outside seating is perfect for a family pizza night. We all loved the hot tub and it was hot when we arrived and we could just jump in. Thank you to the staff for arranging this. The dam right behind the house also ensured hours of entertainment. We wil definitely be back.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house were spacious and spotless, with great décor, amazing scenery very peaceful. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent place for kids. The only disappointing thing was that too much flies. Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back.

It’s cosy and family friendly (we have two kids aged 7 and the 3 1/2. Even through winter the sun shines beautifully during the day and it’s warm. There’s also enough wood to keep warm at night when you request it. I love the welcome treats; it’s a warm welcome, like a hug for the guests. We feel we can really switch off from city life and recharge, I love the “day bed” setting!

The place was perfect for us. A quiet little retreat where we could disconnect from the world. The house was a great size for our group of four adults and two kids. Beautiful walks around the area. Great staff and adequately stocked kitchen. Loved the weekend. Will definitely be coming back.

10/10 guys 🙌 The loft was spacious, clean and well decorated. The dogos had the time of their lives in their own massive farm area. We made roast beef and pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven, drank red wine under the stars and listened to music around the big fire place. If you want to impress your friends and family with a big farm land villa all to yourself then this is definitely a must. It was worth every cent👍 The wine room, indoor heater and electric blankets were a bonus. Thanks Jen. We will be back!

The loft villa was absolutely amazing, so modern and clean with all the facilities you could need. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed their visit as well, for a first time holiday. The scenic views were amazing. It was wonderful to relax and spend quality time with my family. Jen was a fantastic host, and always replied to any queries I had. The pizza oven was a great touch, a bit difficult to start but once you do, was great to grill and cook in it. The bedrooms are comfortable and cozy. We loved going on walks around the farm.
