Friendly staff. Great Décor. Amazing concept and execution of the concept. This is our 3rd time here and we just can't get enough. Friendly helpful staff that make you feel at home and remember you in detail. We explored a bit more and fell in love with the place even more. The coffee room is a hub of tranquility ; like you in a bubble that blocks out the hustle and bustle of the outside world.
Each time we get a new different room that keeps the adventure and sense of discovery going. Thank You 55 On Main and Staff . Heres to many many more visits.

Being a boutique hotel, everything was cozy, intimate and comfortable.
It's wonderful to wake up to the sounds of the ocean and the penguins, who are just not cute and noisy, but apparently, they bite!
Kirsty, Nelson and team were exceptionally warm and welcoming.
Simon's Town has a certain charm to it. We ate out at Dixie's. The food was great and the cocktails packed a punch.

The property provided a truly tranquil and comfortable stay. I felt completely at home during my visit. The soothing sounds of frogs in the nearby vlei and the gentle waves of the ocean added to the already serene atmosphere.
Michele was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. She is a talented artist, and the delicious breakfast she prepared was served on her beautiful handmade ceramic dishware. On a chilly, rainy evening, she generously offered me a warm bowl of homemade soup, which I greatly appreciated.
The bedroom was cozy and inviting, with soft, comfortable bedding and even a heated blanket for extra warmth. The room offered a lovely view overlooking the ocean and vlei, and it was an easy walking distance to the beach as well as local restaurants and shops.
In addition, there was an ample selection of books available to enjoy during my stay. The overall experience was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. I would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful, restorative getaway.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
I liked everything about the property, the hospitality was awesome and I wish to go back there with my family. The owner of the establishment even took us to work with his own transport free of charge...
We wished we could stay longer. It was the best welcome to CT we could have had.
Our children loved the house and the gardens around it, and so did we!
Highly recommended, but do yourself a favor and come for longer than two nights.
Worth every penny!
We were greeted warmly, upon which an informative visit across the premises followed. The explanation was comprehensive, yet to the point. The house is functional, extremely clean, and decorated with a keen sense of balance. The owner has literally thought of everything. What a view to wake up to. Simply breathtaking. The gentle sun rays, the quiet surroundings and crashing of the waves, combined with pristine bed linens, have made waking up a new found joy. A marvelous stay. Thank you, William.
Our stay at A Place in Thyme was wonderful. The place is located a short drive away from shops and other amenities, and the views from the windows are breathtaking. Lynda always made sure that we had everything that we needed and promptly responded to any of our questions or requests. The funicular is a lifesaver when you have a lot of luggage!
The hotel was very well looked after. The bedroom was neat and clean. The location was perfect for a family with children. The beach is literally across the road.
