The location is lovely with a parking at the side of the house out of the street. A short walk away from the coolest eateries and the owl house. The house is beautifully decorated with a lovely back stoep to entertain or read a book. Great for 2 couples and 2 kids/single persons. Bring your mountain bike and explore the town. You will fall in love. Will highly recommend this lovely stay.

The communication with the host, Desiree was excellent. She met us at the guesthouse and gave us a tour of the facilities, also what can be visited and experienced in town. She sent us a link before our arrival on restaurants and places of interest to visit, which made planning our trip so much easier. The house is super comfy albeit rustic and the bed was fantastic. To note that we went over a weekend when it was quite cold, but electric blankets provided. We were able to take our two miniature Schnauzers with and the backyard was fenced in and a perfect and safe play area for them. We kept them on their leashes when walking into town. Other animals like dogs, sheep, goats and horses are free roaming in town and create a real farm atmosphere. Everything is within walking distance, so pack your walking shoes. We had a great pizza at Bruno's, but the guest house has everything for self catering. A most enjoyable stay.

There is a whole private garden with a braai that you have to yourselves. The room was spacious and well equipped, with a nice big comfortable bed. It’s central and very tranquil - there were horse foals next door, beautiful bird song in the morning and a stunning starry night sky in the evening. The hosts were lovely and made our stay very comfortable.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The Bethesda was inviting and comfortable. Ludolf welcomed us like family and made us feel right at home. There is no rush here and everyone is friendly. We will be back!!
This is such a little town that everything is in walking distance. The people are all friendly and the town is very neat and tidy. It is like stepping back in time gone by and was a great experience especially for my teenagers. Beautiful scenery all around you.

The tower shape hotel was a great experience for us and the kids. It was very unique and we have never stayed in a "hotel" that has a tower as the rooms. The location was also great and we had a relaxing stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped us with everything that we needed.
I loved the home feeling of the place and I really enjoyed that there was a Library in the house so I could read to my son. The host was really thoughtful as they supplied a baby camp cot, high chair and bath for our 4 month old son. We were very happy that the host provided emergency lights for the load scheduling.
