As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Apart from the large house with plenty of space, the view is the big selling point here. With lots of outdoor space (pool, lounge area), it's great to just be outside and look at the view across Escondido. Kids were mostly in the pool or tub and we enjoyed some time off around the fire table. Shops very close by (just down the road at the intersection) and ocean not too far either. Host super responsive to questions. Cooling throughout the house helped a lot with the very warm 4th of July weekend. Definitely recommended!

The place was perfect. Although the institute was quite old, everything was clean and sound. My family stayed in the hotel for the whole day because of the hurricane and heavy rain. But we still enjoyed the pool and slide the other day and that was satisfying. Additionally, I really like the kitchen and the equipments.
Came woth my family. Didn't expect to much but everything was way better. The rooms were so clean. No leftovers from the previous guest. The pool not to small ,not to big. Chairs by the pool and close to mini mart and small coffee shop. It's in a not so populated area. I've stayed at much more expensive hotels that did not come near. They even called me to confirm my reservation on my way. There's no breakfast but like I said it's next door to a coffee shop
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The suites and rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Gorgeous views with several pools and activities, including golf. Very kid friendly. The kitchen was fully equipped and very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will go back.
We encountered a number of issues with appliances in the apartment we booked and the staff were extremely helpful in trying to sort out our problems (even though they were unable to do so). Every member of the engineering team we spoke to and encountered were extremely polite and apologetic. We asked for a partial refund on our stay due to the problems we experienced and the management agreed to reimburse some of the costs - this was appreciated. The setting of the resort is ideal for being able to explore nearby San Diego.
