Overall our stay was good. The rooms are large and well equipped. Location is great and in the heart of all the eating and drinking places on Franklin Street. Easy to move around from there and Brooklyn is a great alternative to Manhattan.

Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Very clean, very nice property. The staff were wonderful. Some unusual perks like a daily laundry and bar credit. Location was easily walkable to many restaurants and small shops. TV worked well. Good gym facility. Bunk beds were good for our family. Shower and toilet in separate rooms made it easier to share the space. Very quiet during the day. Cleaning every 2 days worked well.
Comparing to other prices online, this hostel definitely has the best value. We stayed only for a night, but everything looked okay. Easy to find, less than 10 min walk to L and J train, a little over hour to reach JFK…It has a cool vibe and staff was friendly. Reminded me of some hostels I stayed in Europe. Btw they are kid friendly 👍
This is the true definition of home away from home.The staffs were super friendly. The location is about 2 minutes walk away from Subway so it made our journey to New York easy. Oh you wanna talk about the breakfast? It was tasty and so delicious. My family loved it. I,100%,recommend this hotel. Especially for families.

Location is perfect, near subway, walking distamce to the brooklyn bay with view to the skyline of Manhattsn and there are some nice restsurants around the corner. Room is big enough for a family with two childten for a short stay.
Really enjoyed our stay as a family of 3. We were visiting from the UK. Decent location, good breakfast, great value for money, really nice staff, good facilities including the tv, shower and hairdryer. There is a credit card charge for about £156 ($200 for two nights) but this was refunded back the day we checked out.
Clean, new and felt funky but not in an overwhelming way. Staff were really nice and overall it was a good vibe there. Rooms reasonable sized considering it was NYC. I would stay again and my friend who lives there and visited said he would also tell him family and friends to stay there.
Great hospitality from the owner and the place is great for family vacation as it has enough room to accomodate up to 4 people with all the comfort of a home
The hotel was a perfect one for our family of 4 (2 parents + 2 teenagers) who came with a car for 3 days / 2 nights stay in New York (first time visit). We loved everything: a great location (very easy access to the city with a metro; a quiet neighborhood with a nice supermarket just 2 min away), free parking outside the hotel; super nice, artistic interior; spacious and very comfortable studio-type room with a kitchen zone, private WC + shower room; tasty breakfast and good coffee; helpful staff.
Honestly don’t let the outside and neighborhood fool you. The staff was awesome and the room was very clean. I was concerned about the area but after a 1 night stay, I stayed 3 more nights. I was visiting family and brought little ones back to the hotel and the kids played with the neighbourhood kids overall it was a great time! Please don’t let the outside did to hear you from staying at this hotel at the staff and people
