Especially the staff, both the owner and Fred were wonderful, we had great talks with them! The romms are very nice and clean. The pool table in the bar is nice for the evenings. The location is great, in pure nature, very close to nature and community walks- highly recommended as well as the Chimpanzee tracking.

Offering mountain views, Mwamba Kelele Lodge in Fort Portal offers accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and barbecue facilities. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge.

One of the best accommodations in Uganda. We really enjoyed our stay, the personnel showed us the school and the organisation's background. We were lucky to meet the founder and learned a lot of information about education and living in Uganda. The food was just great and all the people around were nice. Beautiful view from the terrace to the crater lake. It was so touching that I am thinking about to become a volunteer :)

Situated in Fort Portal, 2.7 km from Toroo Botanical Gardens Fort Portal, Palm Star Motel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. Guests can enjoy African and American dishes at the restaurant or have a cocktail at the bar.

The staff accorded me 5 star customer care. They are quite polite and remembered me from the last time I stayed here, about 8 months ago! I loved the room for its African touch and mellow lights that give it a nice ambience after a long day. I also loved the instant hot water available at any time of the night and morning. The place is quiet, up on a hill, nice breeze but it can get chilly at night. The staff were kind enough to get me an extra blanket. This will always be my home away from home whenever I'm in Kabarole.

Offering a garden, Kyaninga Royal Cottage is situated in Fort Portal . Free private parking is available on site.

Kyaninga Royal Cottage also includes a children's playground. Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant. The property also offers packed lunches.

The staff at the Cottage provided superlative quality services! They were always helpful and went beyond what I would consider is reasonable. For example, the staff prepared a breakfast pack of coffee, toast and eggs for me when I had a 5am start. The food was excellent, dinners were like a gourmet restaurant for a modest price.

Amazing work being done here in the local community which we witnessed first hand. The lodge itself offers incredible views from the rim of the crater lake. We enjoyed the food, especially breakfast looking out at the peaks of the distant mountain range to the sound of laughter and singing from local school children. This is a lovely place to stay for a couple of days, especially as we could walk down to the lake and enjoy a beer by the water there. The money you spend staying here goes back into the community. It's a win-win for everybody
