We had a wonderful stay at Nizam Butik Otel during our first visit to Büyükada. The owner, Özgür and Mehtap were very welcoming and greeted us with fresh lemon juice. He even showed us three room options so we could choose the one we liked best.
Özgür and Mehtap were always friendly and helpful, offering free water and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The Turkish breakfast was amazing, with plenty of variety and delicious options, even when we check out and about to leave, they gifted us with a nice wrapped box full of delicious Turkish sweets.
The hotel is in a great location, charming, and our room was clean and cozy. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’ll definitely stay here again when we return. Highly recommended!

Staff & property excellent. My room was as expected going by photos. I asked if I could get a room with an outdoor space & the manager changed me over as soon as one became available. Great location so close to shops & restaurants but in a quiet area. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

This is my second time staying at Karadag.
Absolutely love the place, the pool and the location. It’s hidden away from the busy touristic part but 10 -15 minutes walk to the centre. You can get the electric taxi and pay with your Istanbul card it costs about 100 TL . Clean and feels very homey❤️

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and received a very warm welcome from the owners. Not only is the property charming and characterful, it is a treasure trove full of wonderful period furniture. The restaurant was equally charming.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.

Lovely family-run hotel in a historic mansion. We paid to upgrade to the sea view room and I would highly recommend doing this as the views are incredible! Great breakfasts and friendly hosts who made us feel at home.
Real quirky. Loved the historic nature of the place. Stayed in quite a few hotels over the last few weeks. All nice, but cold and a bit impersonal. Meziki had charm and loads of character. Family who ran the place couldn’t have been more attentive and welcoming. Even offered to make us a packed lunch as we were leaving early and missing out on breakfast.
The breakfast was amazing!!! I loved every bit from it. It is the best among all hotels i have stayed in Istanbul.

This is my favourite spot in Istanbul - a real oasis in the big city - its a real mansion with friendly owners that are always helpful and fun to talk to. Really makes you feel at home, that's all I can say.
Also, the hotel is very tastefully decorated, located in a quiet place but close to everything. I particularly love Thu market. The only reason I do not shout about this place - is because I love its peacefulness and family atmosphere.
