Pukha Nanfa Hotel, hotel in Nan

Featuring modern Thai décor, Pukha Nanfa Hotel is located in Northern Thailand’s Nan Town. It offers a restaurant, massage services and air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV.

This is a beautiful building, beautifully finished all in wood. I'm assuming teak. There are large seating areas with an open balcony on both floors, so you can escape the heat of the day and read. The bedroom was a good enough size. Huge and comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Good shower. Lovely touches like a welcoming rice and banana snack and a gift bag of lovely soap. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. There is a library, which has an amazing range of books about Thailand and Lanna culture. We found a good one on the Wat murals and a couple on textiles. The hotel is well placed in the middle of Nan. We had a car and parked in front of the hotel. Great place. I'd stay again.

We enjoyed our stay with Suuwari. Her home is lovely and she made us very welcome. It's a small thing but we particularly liked that the shower was separated from the toilet. In so many places the shower is almost above the toilet and everything gets wet! The location is good, within walking distance of lots of attractions including the weekend night market. We hired bikes from a guesthouse on the same road to explore outside the centre. The long-tail boat racing was on during our stay and it was great fun to watch.

Very clean, tidy and groomed hostel with very friendly hosts in the center of Nan city. The little room with your bed is almost like a private room. Everything was spotless clean, with a nice interior and like on the pictures. I could also store my luggage during my scooter trip in the province and they give me good recommendations for a motorbike shop

Small family run hotel in a great location. The rooms are a good size and have a balcony with chairs and a table so you can admire the view. The shower was hot and a decent pressure. Breakfast was catering for Thai guests, however, the staff kindly made us hot fried eggs and an omelette when we asked. The free hotel bikes are well maintained and a great way to see Nan.

We tried to cancel, as our plans had changed. We never heard back from them after 2 attempts. When they say non-refundable, they mean it. I chalked it up to travel hiccups but it would have been nice to hear back from them. They are a bit non-communicative.

Authentic teak house with exceptionally friendly and welcoming family. We asked where to eat dinner and mum quickly put us in her car and drive us to the street food market whilst showing us the easiest way to walk home. Could not have asked for a more friendly and welcoming family. Breakfast was a nice added bonus of traditional Thai and western mix. Highly recommend.

This place a is a great cityscape - so relaxing, comfortable surrounded by nature and the Nan river. I love the fact that they had these large hammocks by the river that you can lie / sleep and read a good book in. They also have an outdoor jacuzzi but we didn’t try that because it was too cold outside hahaha. Also loved that the place is family run - so it feels more like a home that you are staying in and they treat you like as if you are house guest coming into their very large dreamlike home

This unique place is run by a local family. The individual bungalows are in perfect shape and have all amenities needed and overlooking well maintained rice and other farming fields. There is a little cafeteria that serves a few choices for eating. The place is quiet and during night I only could hear natural sound. There is a hearty breakfast served in the morning. A place I would stay anytime again.

We were treated like family by Boy and Kay! The food was delicious and the view from our little bungalow over the fields and the mountains was just incredible. Like most places in Pai it's good to have your own transport, but since we didn't Boy took us to the night market and the bus station and we got to rent his car for a day. All in all an amazing experience! We will be back!

This was great value for money. The pool was large, shaded and cool. Staff were very helpful. Room was large with a very comfortable chair. Loved sitting on the area outside the room overlooking the pool. The family have decided to return for a reunion holiday! A big supermarket was close by.
