Incredible veiw!!! The location is superb in the most beautiful part of Chiang Dao. Very chilled atmosphere, the guest house is truly a home for us travelers. I recomend the down stairs rooms as you can enjoy the shared balcony anytime but don't have to worry about other guest being right out the front of your window. Either way you will cherish your stay at Ashi!

Surrounded by greenery, Huan Chiang Dao Resort offers traditional northern Thai wooden bungalows, an outdoor pool, a restaurant and a second restaurant that offers vegetarian and vegan dishes. The property offers free WiFi access in all areas. Free parking is also available but reservation is required.

We had an amazing stay at the Huan Resort! If you are in North Thailand and the Chiang Mai area, you should definitely also include a visit to Chiang Dao. This is a very calm, charming, non-touristy town with lots to see around such as a sticky waterfall, rice terraces, beautiful mountain views, jungles, hot springs, temples, and a huge cave system. We had a really wonderful few days there and got to see a lot of this rural mountain part of Thailand. If you are visiting Chaing Dao, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this resort. It is super quiet and relaxing but has everything you need: AC, hot water, refrigerator, nearby places to eat, and even a pool which was a huge bonus for us. Everything was super clean and in excellent shape. But definitely, the best thing was Ket, the owner. Ket made every effort for us to have a good stay. We do not use mopeds and were a bit worried that this would make it hard for us to see the area. However, Ket arranged bicycles for us and even gave us a lift with them to spare us an uphill journey. She arranged a taxi tour for us to see the hot springs, waterfall, and a beautiful viewpoint of the mountains which were too far to reach by cycling. Ket, thank you for your generosity and hospitality! If you are looking for someplace to relax outside of Chiang Mai and maybe get a little off the beaten track, go here!!! מהמם שם, והבעלים של המקום עוד יותר מהממת. שווה ממש, גם לתרמילאים וגם למשפחות.

Never usually leave reviews but felt I needed to here. Location was fantastic. Very remote, and peaceful, amazing mountian views in the distance. Was treated to an incredible lightning storm in the distance from my balcony at night. Very comfy pillows and light duvet. A very cosy little hut. Food on the evening was very good, and the included breakfast was genuinely incredible and extremely generous size. The owner was beyond helpful and friendly, even brought meals and beers etc to the hut, as well as a lift to the bus station and helped me book onwards transport. Highly reccomend, very glad I stayed 👌🏻

The bungalows are located in the middle of fruit trees. This is a working farm that has been in the family for generations, it is just lovely to see the pride of the current owner who explained to us all the different trees. Breakfast was freshly prepared, the home made organic jam made from their fruit. The place was a haven of peace.

This is a wooden house with 5 rooms which is taken care of carefully by a family. They take very good care of the guests (pick up from bus station, book taxis when needed, organise renting motorcycle or bicycle, and help you with everything you need). The view is stunning, you can just stay in the accommodation for hours and enjoy the nature and the sunset. Great breakfast and water, tea and coffee available.

I hate this place. When we arrived at 2 am and we told them. Nobody's were there. No electricity, no water no phone. I couldn't believe. Only nature. We paid money for breakfast and absolutely nothing! Are you kidding me? Every where is broken and just garbage! It's not working.

This place deserves more than a 10! We stayed in the private room for 3 nights and had a great time. Thong is the most friendly host you’ll ever meet and she makes you feel like home. Staying with her, her little boy and her mother made us feel like we were part of the family. We had nice conversations with her and the other guests, ate together and played games. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the location was great. Highly recommend!

The location is exactly what I wanted, remote enough but still close to the town. Able to hit the hot springs and hike within a 10-minute drive or 20-minute walk. Amazing authentic Thai breakfast with fresh papaya, banana & dragon Fruit! Thong was a great host and always had fun activities planned like heading to the local market or heading into the village for dinner & dancing.

The breakfast was very nice and fresh and the coffee was the absolute best! He arranged a taxi for us aswel and we had a lovely walk to Chiang Dao Mountain Reset which is a nice place with live music and good food. This place and stay was truely a highlight of our trip and we will recommend this to our friends and family for sure!

The breakfast was generous and tasty, and the staff were very accommodating of food preferences (our son can’t eat eggs). Serving real butter is unusual and very much appreciated! They even cooked something special for our littlest member of the family! We also loved the quiet and the beautiful surroundings, hearing the monks chant and the mist in the mornings. Oh and the outdoor showers and bathtub! And the beautiful garden. And we loved the calm and friendly staff.

That's really pleasant to stay in Thong's home. Her little kid is so funny and strong man for his young age, her mom is a great cooker and very kind. Thong is really easy going and take care of you very well. Interesting to hear about Myanmar. I recommend 100% Better have a bike to travel around home, she can rent you one

The place is just perfect for my family. We enjoyed so much. Accommodation is a cozy, comfortable and well equipped everything we need. My children like to see the turtle in the garden. The breakfast is also nice. You can choose one main meal, drink and also fruits and cakes were provided. It is more valuable than money. The best part was the owner's kindness. He always response our requests and needs. It make our vacation more comfortable. We really appreciate about that.
