The place is simple and pleasant and well maintained, the design of the cabins is traditional and open, the landlady is very pleasant and helpful above and beyond. Helped us look for an apartment, brought fruit in the morning and was generally pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended

Everything! Our stay was amazing, everything was clean, the decor of the property is beautiful, the staff is extremely welcoming and attentive. We had a water issue on the second day (not the hotel’s fault) and the staff wouldn’t stop apologising and they let us use the mini bar as a complementary gift.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is very big. It is just outside of the centre, about 10 minutes walk. With the scooter about 2 minutes. There is no noise.

A second review just to cover the extra week we booked in a different room. For our second week we were in “Double Room with Balcony - 2 Adults 1 Child”. Bear in mind that we stayed in this room as a couple, so the third bed was very much just used as a sofa and not slept on (although comfy enough to). This room is much larger than the standard double and detached from any other rooms. It’s essentially a large cabin which sits slightly further up the hill from the pond than the standard double room we stayed in for the first week. There is a huge decked balcony with curtains to pull across on each side for privacy and a phenomenal view of the mountains. Out here you have a low table with seating for 4, along with a sun lounger and a rail for hanging clothes/towels. The cabin is accessed up a few small steps and you enter on the first ‘level’ where you again have an area to sit and work or get ready with a mirror on the wall. There is a drawer for storage and also a large cupboard next to the fridge. The single bed also sits on this level with a large coffee table next to it. The bathroom is also on this level. Down a step (but all in the same single open room) is the double bed and door out to the balcony (which is down 3 more small steps). The bed was comfy again and this time with plugs next to it. The TV sits on the counter of the first level but at the end of the bed so is well positioned but cannot comment on the quality as we didn’t use it. The bathroom is a bit smaller than in the other room we stayed in. This wasn’t a problem for us but something to consider if you are staying as a family in this room, as it’s quite tight for more than one person in there. This room, as it’s a cabin, gets a little warmer in the day and a little cooler at night than our previous room. This is no problem with the air con available and a thick blanket left on the bed for at night.

One of my favourite stays ever! This place felt like a homey resort! We had to book the family room for 3 as it was the only room left available at the time (we’re just a couple), and we’re so happy we did! Our room was right by the river, which you can even see from inside your room, had a gorgeous Greek style porch including hammock, the bed was super comfy (unlike the typical hard mattresses all over Thailand), excellent Wi-Fi, and overall great amenities! The communal area’s also by the river, with all the comforts you need. They also provided us a free ride to the other side when the bamboo bridge was closed due to the heavy rain while we were there. We only used the free ride once as you can rent motorbikes for just 100 baht in town, which gave us more freedom. It’s say a 5 min ride using the main bridge. Otherwise, when the bamboo bridge was open, it’s the quickest walk from the “paradise” part of the river to the Walking Street where everything’s happening. Even with the bamboo bridge closed, location was perfect! Already extended our stay directly with them <3

Kong Singapore

Well located, quiet yet near to city centre and walking street with many food outlets. Receptionist speak good English, very friendly and provided all travel info. The breakfast is good, and there is coin operated washing machine.
