Amazing setting - beautiful pool, well equipped and appointed villas. Close enough to all the resorts and sights but far enough away to enjoy real peace and quiet in the countryside. You need a car or a bike but the detachment from the crazy of Ao Nang is worth it. Staff are brilliant, always on hand and super friendly - some great recommendations for hidden gems that made our stay even better. Super clean (maids on site clean the villa thoroughly every day down to windows inside and out!) and literally nothing is too much trouble.

Excellent option to stay in Krabi, they provide transportation to Railay and Ao Nang as part of their services, Phra Nang beach in Railay or the tours to Phi phi island that departs from Ao Nang are easy to reach with this service. The rooms and the view are pretty and the pool is great. The breakfast offers western and Asian options. The staff always tried to make us feel comfortable during our stay.

you could order a lovely breakfast and eat beside the pool. The food was very good, reasonably priced and there were a few different options to choose from. We enjoyed sitting quietly and listening to the birds and looking out at the mountains and trees. The cabin that we stayed in was spacious, had a large comfortable bed, good wifi and nice shower. We had great sleeps due to the very quiet surroundings. I liked this area: within a 5 minute walk you had access to a good massage service and good restaurants. There are also some lovely restaurants a bit further away that you can walk to in 30 minutes or take a songthieuw for a very reasonable price. Our favourite restaurant, Ko Dang has a free shuttle to pick you up and take you back to Avare Seaside house. The owners of Avare will call and set this up for you (as well as organize any tour that you might want and your shuttle to the airport). The pier to take you over to Railay beach east is only a 10 minute walk away so for us, this location was great as we had easy access to what we needed but also peace and quiet in such a beautiful natural setting. You could not ask for better hosts than Nitcha and her parents. This was definitely the best place to stay for our last week in Thailand.
