The ambience, atmosphere, and decor. It felt like stepping back in time into a more gracious and less rushed age. There was something very special about this hotel which I liked very much. The views towards Lake Siljan were lovely also. Absolutely lovely accommodation, home from home with everything you need. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’d ever slept in. Lovely patio area outside and a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc. only I couldn’t find was a hairdryer. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and even left us scones with Jam and cream plus some milk for our arrival. We loved everything about it .
