The small village is really nice and quiet. People in the village are polite and smiling. The staff at Schmidt House is helpful and nice. Check-in and check-out are later than mentioned on Booking. We chose a room on the ground floor, facing the street. Really nice decorated, all vintage and dressed up with good taste. The bathroom is very generous, well equipped and facing the courtyard. Bed is really comfortable and the room was chilly enough, though outside it was quite hot during the noon. The restaurant is 5-10 minutes walk, near the old church. Breakfast was good and offering a wide range of cheese and local ham, vegetables, eggs, local jam, fresh juice, coffee and home made bread. Lunch and dinner are limited, but really tasty and made with local products. Good wine range in the menu and beautiful landscapes on the terrace. We really enjoyed spending the weekend there. Rupea and Viscri are really close and deserve a visit.

Bogdan was an incredibly welcoming host. He came to pick us up from the nearest station with a friend, and also helped us to arrange our onward travel. He also gave us great recommendations of where to eat. The room was beautifully decorated, very clean, and had a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast was served in the garden and was delicious. Viscri is a charming village. We stayed two nights but should have booked to stay for longer!

A wonderful experience. Ana was a charming host, spoke excellent English and was very attentive and willing to help in any way thinkable. The house was clean, the room large. We had a triple room, but it was comfortable enough for 4 of us (2 kids age 2 and 4) - we had a crib in the back of the car but did not need to use it. Location was nice with pretty view, large garden (including a small slide and sandpit for kids), terrace... close to a shop and a Cafe. Breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay very much.

The breakfast was very good and fulfilling. Also, you have the option to have dinner on site and the food was great. My child was captivated by the surraoundings and the farm animals. He really enjoyed petting the donkeys and feeding grass to the rabbits. We will definetly come back. Kudos to the hosts, they were very nice and provided everything we needed.
We loved everything! So calm and quiet, the house was beyond charming, the food was simply delicious, and everybody was very very nice and particularly patient with our two children. They rode the donkeys, collected chicken eggs, played with the rabbits. It’s was sensational.
Amazing hospitality, quite garden, very clean rooms . The food was excellent , we had the breakfast which was always fresh and with local produce and tried every night the amazing dinner- which we highly recommend for adults and children alike.
A charming renovated traditional farmhouse in a fantastic and typical quite village with very friendly hosts, with delicious traditional breakfast. We recommend to take the additional dinner, really delicious all made with local ingredients following old family recepices.
We spent a wonderful weekend at Family & friends. The room is very spacious, clean and quiet. The bed is really comfortable. We have enjoyed the garden, used the kitchen very little but good to see that is very big and clean. There are parking spaces in front of the house. The staff is friendly and helpful, communication was prompt so we will definitely come back.
Affordable accomodation halfway between Sighisoara and Brasov, if you intend to visit nearby fortified churches. Although it's advertised as a traditional house, excessive use of ceramic floor tiles and PVC carpentry makes the rooms look not so welcoming as I would have hoped. Otherwise ok.
As a complementary gift, the host is providing their guests with a big homemade bread.
Bbq area, clean rooms, fully equipped kitchen, small but pretty yard fo children to play outside. Friendly owners, the owner's mother brought us freshly baked traditional bread and home made blueberry jam.
