Such a nice little hidden away place. Not the best if you are looking to tour the Douro but for what we wanted it was perfect. Very quiet and peaceful. Nice outdoor area to go explore the water fall. Good facilities & well equipped kitchen. Perfect place to stay with a dog. Would have been nice to stay longer. Make sure you get supplies from one of the bigger towns on the way there.

We explored the Douro valley travelling between places by taxi, and where previously we selected quintas based on dinner service, this was a relatively new, clean place to stay for a night near a town enabling us to have a choice of restaurants.
Host was attentive and gave us a recommendation for dinner which turned out to be our favourite meal of the whole trip - Casa da Rua in Lamego, fabulous!
The pool was bigger than it looks on the photos and had a fabulous view towards Regua.
