Stunning, beautiful and magical place - we loved our stay. Daniella is a fabulous host and the property and its location are just gorgeous. Lovely walks and drives in the surrounding area. Breakfast and the evening meals were all very good, brought to our studio and enjoyed in our private terrace. Great pool and large, very comfortable room. The hotel and its staff greatly exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was exceptional and the terrace had an amazing view. The room was cool and the bed very comfortable. I loved the authentic decor and the beautiful stone walls in the breakfast room. The quiet location by the river was perfect for me and I enjoyed the boardwalk and the walk up the old railway line. It was close to the station and easy to hop on a train to explore further afield without needing a car. I thought it was excellent value for money and I can't recommend it too highly.

Everything was amazing! The house and the view are spectacular. Ricardo and Ana are the most amazing caretakers of the house and simply the nicest people who made our experience even better. If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries, it doesn’t get better than this. Don’t be afraid of the dirt road that leads to the house - we rented a Ford Puma and we arrived just fine.
