Walkable to Santa Cruz even though google maps says otherwise. Walkable to the nearest beach which has “platforms” to put your towels and multiple areas to jump into the water from. Actually one of the better beaches minus maybe Caleheta if your looking for sand. The apartment in our opinion is the best equipped apartment we ever stayed in - minus coffee machine but there was a perkulator. The knives were very sharp, plenty of pots and pans, and even food containers! This was the only apartment (we stayed in three different ones in Madeira) where we could get some good sleep. Even leaving the windows open the noise was nonexistent at night. Everyone slept well. Little things like door stops to hold the doors open were even there. There’s actually two balcony’s that you can’t see from the pictures, one facing the water and one facing the car park for the laundry. The host José was excellent he helped it out quite a bit with getting around, very friendly and we had an issue with a late flight that he also helped us out with! Right next to bus line. Internet was fast and there was a smart TV.

A very comfortable apartment, with 4 balconies on top of two bathrooms and bedrooms. Well equipped for longer stays, and basic cooking needs provided (oil, vinegar, salt and pepper), as well as toiletries in both bathrooms. Washing machine a big plus, and Madeira climate dries everything within minutes! Wifi very good, Netflix on TV. Grocery shopping nearby, but uphill, while everything else by bus or car because thisbis an apartment block with not much nearby. Buses pass frequently by the house, and Bolt is cheap too, so one really does not need a rental. Airport is 3 minutes away by Bolt. Totally recommended!

Pedro is a great host, responsive and helpful. Villa has an amazing view. The pool is great, pretty big, warm water even in May. Living area is very bright and is extended by spacious terrace, which is perfect place to enjoy meals in sunny weather.

Beautiful location on the coast with sea and mountain views. Perfectly located for exploring the island. Andre was an amazing host!

Views are stunning, it has everything there you could need for cooking, swimming, toys, washing ect very comfortable for a family. Very big villa with lots of space, all the bedrooms are outstanding with ensuites in all. Nice salt water pool.
