lovely garden around property, good sized car park, nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the breakfast room, as other places in Portugal didn't have any such facilities. Host was very helpful, speaks many languages and gave us two excellent restaurant suggestions in nearby village and rung up to make reservations for us. We stayed there in late October so didn't use swimming pool so can't comment on that. You do need own transport to use this place.

The cottage is located just below the walls of Monsaraz village so very close, so ideal. There are quite a few cafes and restaurants in the village and especially Xarez was really good. It has everything you need and the owner allows dogs. It has a fantastic little terrace/balcony.

The house was kid friendly and dog friendly. Fully equipped, ac in all the rooms. Tv in the bedroom and the couch was really comfortable which is important for the family to have a common space that had that feature. My daughter simply loved the kids bedroom. We look forward to coming back

We only stayed for one night but the place is well suitable for a complete week there... the location is central and close to café's and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and modern, comfy beds, nice bathroom, all very functional and nice to be in. The staff we met was very friendly and always pleased to help us. Breakfast was included and it was very good with plenty of things to choose from. For a weekend stay, there was no issues with parking. There is a EV charging station close by which is very handy.
Central location, we were alone although two other rooms were closed for other guests. So we were lucky to be alone inside this old house full of family history
An astonishing welcome - so hospitable and friendly, I felt like long-lost family. Stunning breakfast- really exceptional. Beautiful grounds and setting. Lovely clean air, ample parking, extremely safe. An outside seating area perfect for the evening as well as for breakfast. Beautiful antiques and lamps throughout the house. A real glimpse of classic Portugal.
