Quinta da Paz is a perfect place to calm down and relax! The gardens are amazing with the avocado and mandarin trees and we enjoyed the eggs of the chickens. Claudia is super friendly and gives you a lot of tips about the island. Also the jacuzzi is great to relax in after a day of hiking (just be aware that it closes at 19:00h). There is a supermarket within walking distance. There are also bikes available.

The ocean view from the window is awesome. Comfortable bed and great linens. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast with various food options: champagne, fruits, cheeses, meats, breads, yogurts, sweets, some hot food choices, etc. Nice spa with saunas and pool. Great restaurants near by (walking distance) to have dinner: Gastronomo or Sao Pedro restaurants. Hotel has parking for 10 euros a day.

We had an amazing experience at this property! The design is stunning, with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The dining room, in particular, offered lovely garden views..
We stayed in Room 6, which was spacious and incredibly comfortable. The covered patio was an added bonus; we spent hours there, unwinding and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. The jacuzzi was large, spotless, and set in a charming greenhouse.
Breakfast was another highlight! The spread of fresh fruits, freshly squeezed juices, and an impressive selection of meats, cheeses, and breads exceeded our expectations. It was a delicious way to start the day.
Lastly, we want to give special thanks to Edgar for his outstanding customer service. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay and made us feel truly welcomed.
Overall, our time at this property was incredibly relaxing, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful getaway with exceptional service!

Loved the breakfast in the morning, large variety of foods and something a little different every morning. The hotel was only a short walk away from most locations in the old town and restaurants. Gabriela from the evening reception was very helpful with recommendations, and finding a corkscrew. Rooms had high ceilings and a lot of natural light, bathrooms were bright and clean.
