We got restaurant recommendations and when we visited one of the places it had super delicious food. The place was wonderful, staff very friendly and accommodating. I was having work done on my home and had to move out for a few days with my pets. They were so welcoming and helpful throughout it all. Quiet which was welcoming. Beautiful view and I watched the horses in the morning playing in their pens while no one was watching, quite fun. The bed was very comfortable and had great pillows. Very clean.

We love that the house has a fireplace for colder nights and a pool for warmer days.
It has a great spaces to be outside as on the inside.
The rooms are super cute and beds very comfortable.
It comes with a lovely bbq where you can grill some meat or fish so you can enjoy all day around the pool.
It also has small villages nearby with great restaurants and also weekend markets where you can get some amazing grilled chicken.
You can do some trails and walks.
It's perfect for couples but also for family's with kids.
We honestly love it and hope to be back!

This is by far the best accommodation you can wish for! Hosts are exceptionally welcoming and friendly, the room was wonderful, the meals were tasty and fresh, the garden is like a little paradise. We stayed for two nights and even had a chance to have lunch with hosts and their family. It was truly magnificent experience, we highly recommend Villa Chanca!
extremely friendly host. beautiful house in a tiny village on top of a hill. it felt like meeting family. we were sorry we could only stay one night. the mornings were gorgeous with the amazing view and sub through the bedroom window. one of the nicest places we’ve stayed on all our travels.
This is a really special place, hosted exceptionally by Paula and Jose. We were welcomed like family. The dinner provided for for the 4 of us was a mere 50 Euro was delicious home cooking. The breakfast was rich and abundant. I only wish we'd had more time to stay here.
Penela is just great. The staff is really welcoming and there´s a vibe that surprised us a lot, the bar is quite fun and lot´s of international people around.
