It was an awesome stay! Honestly, I did not want to leave the place. It is like a castle, and felt so warm and cosy, bed was so comfy that I did an effort to get out of it in the morning) Larinda and Lous are brilliant hosts, so welcoming and helpful. It was a first place on my Camino way where I was offered to wash my close free of charge, and dry it on heater specially put in for it. Thank you, thank you!

Great apartment, spacious, well equipped with everything you need. The beds were comfortable. Very well organized bathroom/toilet space. The communication with our host was easy and helpful. We got restaurant recommendations and when we visited one of the places it had super delicious food. In the morning a black cat visited and demanded to be fed - it was cute, and stayed in front of the apartment door,waiting.We fed her of course.

This is by far the best accommodation you can wish for! Hosts are exceptionally welcoming and friendly, the room was wonderful, the meals were tasty and fresh, the garden is like a little paradise. We stayed for two nights and even had a chance to have lunch with hosts and their family. It was truly magnificent experience, we highly recommend Villa Chanca!
extremely friendly host. beautiful house in a tiny village on top of a hill. it felt like meeting family. we were sorry we could only stay one night. the mornings were gorgeous with the amazing view and sub through the bedroom window. one of the nicest places we’ve stayed on all our travels.
This is a really special place, hosted exceptionally by Paula and Jose. We were welcomed like family. The dinner provided for for the 4 of us was a mere 50 Euro was delicious home cooking. The breakfast was rich and abundant. I only wish we'd had more time to stay here.
Penela is just great. The staff is really welcoming and there´s a vibe that surprised us a lot, the bar is quite fun and lot´s of international people around.
