The whole casa and the room itslef were very clean and spacious. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that for minimum pay I get that comfort and cleanliness. The host was caring and attentive, though not speaking English. They responded positively on our late check-in. There is nothing spectacular about the casa's location; yet it is a perfect overnight stop at the end of Northern Portugal or Douro Valley day trip - a secluded refuge from the bustling Porto, which is just 20 minutes away.

I think probably not for everyone but I loved it and charming and most helpful owners. Rural location and the bed was very comfortable and a beautiful breakfast brought to the cabin in the garden. I enjoyed!

Very warm welcome of our hosts in this beautiful family-owned castle with modern comfort. The location is very convenient to go to Porto airport. We had dinner and breakfast, and both were exceptional in terms of variety, quantity and quality of the products. We also enjoyed the medieval games available in the garden. everything was high quality. we are not quantity oriented people, we always look at quality. Its literally 5 star level place, so warm that you feel at home. Staff really amazing, rooms fantastic, design, material used for the construction,perfection etc. place taken care excellently.

Typical traditional family run accommodation (stone houses) from the outside. Very modern, clean and extremely cosy from the inside.

The building is decorated and maintained beautifully and the hostess is delightful to deal with. ICH provides a very welcoming and comfortable stay while being affordable.
