I loved the location. There are hiking trails where you can do bird watching and go thru the wine yards. There are facilities for kayaking too, everything included (paddles, kayaks, and lifesavers). The stay includes a tour of the process and degustation of wine.

Beautiful place with breathtaking view! The owners are really warm, warm people. I recommend to try porto wine which is amazing! The Villa is big, enough space for even group of ten. Great big kitchen with massive supplies, neverending wood for fireplace and pool for Hortex days. Perfect place to stay!

beautiful wine Chateau in the Douro Valley, we loved our stay there. The service is excellent, we did a wine tour that was wine and enjoyed the most incredible dinner. make sure to eat there, the staff was incredibly attentive to details and even offered us a Port Wine from 2000. I can highly recommend the hotel and will definitely be back!

This is a remote location which after 5 weeks of heavy travel was much appreciated, beautiful views. The earlier reviews noted it was smart to bring my own food which I did. It was a wonderful retreat for a few days! This place is clean it is comfortable and the host is the absolute best. Daniel made sure I found his spot by guiding me there himself due to a road closure, the next day when I got turned around he helped me again. He is gracious very accomodati g and makes awesome PORT!

Tudo era perfeito! Cristina and Nuno are the best hosts! Hearty and comfy meals with local products, great Porto too! The swimming pool is absolutely gorgeous! Most probably our best stay in Portugal!
