After a very busy 10 days in the hustle of Lisbon and Porto, this country home was a welcome reprieve. We were lucky to have the entire place to ourselves for one night, and the sunny kitchen was glorious for making our own breakfast, eating in the dining room and chatting in the seating area during a rainy day. We could adjust the heat in our room which was great! The hosts were fabulous and we had a great visit and tour outside to see the beautiful stream, the bridge and the pool etc. Highly recommend if you need to get off the beaten path and relax.

Great attention to detail outside and in. Fantastic garden to discover, even in December! We loved walking in the nearby nature, finding many mushrooms and breathing in the delicious fresh countryside air. The house was very comfortable and pleasant, thanks to the decor and the under-floor heating. We felt like at home and had a wonderful weekend that felt more like a week. Quinta das Cantigas is a little hidden Oasis. A fantastic stay for families. The two swimming pools were great, clean and warm with the little one perfect for my 1 & 4 year olds. My boys loved feeding the goats and guinea pigs in the mornings, and there are many little hidden places to explore on the property. You're kids will be easily entertained! We stayed in the old Ford truck which was a fantastic experience, it was far more spacious than I thought and the beds were very comfy. The outdoor kitchen area was very well equipped and our private bathroom had nice hot showers :) It's also only 20-30 mins drive away from some lovely beaches and seaside towns. If big overcrowded resorts aren't for you but you want a place where the kids will be happy and entertained while you can chill then this is it! We will be back! :)
