Very friendly welcome from Luisa. Some lovely local fruit and vegetables and other food given to us to use. The accommodation and the kitchen have everything one needs for an enjoyable stay. We also tasted local wine produced by the family which is of high quality. The surrounding area is beautiful for nature lovers and Alijo itself is an attractive and charming town. Difficult to fault anything at all. Thank you.

Absolutely wonderful! Staying here was the highlight of our holiday. The house was amazing with outstanding views over the river Douro. A gorgeous garden and swimming pool and wonderful staff who made the holiday extra special.

I have had the most amazing stay at Casa Da Trigueira, Antonio his wife and the staff are most welcoming and a true testament to Portuguese hospitality. Apart from immaculate and well presented rooms the highlight is breakfast

Pool area is very food! Not crowdy, with sun umbrella and sunbeds. All the property is very clean and functional 👍 comfortable beds and spacious bathroom.
My family loved this place, peacefull quite very relaxing, a rural vibe super confortable. The staff is so thoughtfull and welcoming , from the first smile to the goodbye everyone was super nice to me and my family. Love to come back anytime.
Luxery quinta, perfect into the details! A pitty that we booked just one night after completing Route N222. Hostess was very friendly, breakfast was good ! Kids did enjoy themselfs in the pool and at the billiard table. The beds are supreme!

It’s a charming boutique hotel that kept its value through time. Staff is marvellous! The food is awesome! It’s a good place to rest, read, be in love, take your small kids because you will feel like you were hosted by family.
