Our group of 4 friends had a great time at the property. The hosts - Maria and Rodrigo, were very easy to communicate with and welcomed us with some local food specialties, which was very appreciated after our long trip. My friends and I have stayed in hundreds of houses all over the world and this one stands out as the best equipped one by far. There is everything you could ever need in a house in terms of equipment and consumables. We really felt at home and I recommend the place if you want to have a quiet and pleasant holiday while still being very close to the main city of Ponta Delgada. Furthermore, we travelled through the whole island and we could not find a nicer neighbourhood than Caloura so that's definitely the place you would like to be at. Beautiful location. Hotel full of light with wonderful gardens and places to sit and look out to sea. Large and v comfortable rooms and good selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff who greeted you with a smile whenever you met. Hi light was spotting dolphins from pool terrace. So sorry to leave.
