The bungalow has an easy-to-access parking, a terrace and a pool with spectacular views of Temae Beach and Tahiti. It was very well equipped, especially the bed, which was super comfortable and large, and the bathroom was very spacious.
Temperature was great, and everything was very clean.
Tevaite & Cedric were incredible hosts very welcoming and extremely pleasant and attentive to us. They recommended places and restaurants on the island, showed us aspects of the local culture, and even lent us snorkeling equipment!
Unfortunately, we could only stay for 3 days, but we would have stayed 10!
We definitely recommend this place. If you come to Moorea, don’t hesitate to stay at this Happy Bungalow! We would like to come back again and again :)
Thanks Tevaite & Cedric.
Sincerely, José & Doli

Everything for us was superb. The bed was so comfortable. We loved the white decor and our balcony was magic. Saw mama whale twice!
For us it was the perfect mini resort, although sadly we were only able to be there for 2 nights.

The house is really lovely. Really nicely designed and spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is a real highlight. Kitchen has all you need and the living space is “indoor/outdoor” which is great. Free filtered water on tap. Great fire/bbq outside. A big inflatable pool which takes up the whole garden unfortunately but good if you have kids I guess.

Loved the warm welcome, the well-equipped bungalow, the outside lounging/dining/bbq area, the long wild beach and most of all the sound of the wind in the ironwood trees and coconut palms. Convenient as well for shops and restaurants.

The food, beach, room, gym & staff are all excellent. There is nothing I would change. We had a perfect stay and I hope we can return one day.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We had the most wonderful stay at Lucie et Stephane's little slice of paradise in May 2024. Travelling with 3 children, we were treated like family and their hospitality was fantastic. Always helpful & with lots of local knowledge, we couldn't have asked for more. We would highly recommend this accomodation & would love to come back again soon. The breakfast is well worth getting. Thank you for letting us stay in your paradise.
* Friendly and professional staff. Louis was fantastic. He showed great empathy on a day when everything was closed and helped put together a meal for the family. He is a patient listener and tries his best to address your problems.
* A rustic environment brings you closer to nature. I loved the wood theme in the dwelling as well as in the common areas like dining.
* Convenient access from the ferry station
- right of a private beach
- perfect size for two people
- aircon in bedroom
- all cooking facilitated you would need
- really nice touches like coffee and oil etc
- AMAZING hosts so friendly checking in if we need anything and just so generous!
- comfy bed
- good location too, just 8 mins from ferry , also close to where main tours start.
- close to the best public beach on the island
- really affordable for Tahiti
The Sunday breakfast was excellent, Tahitian fare. The hosts were friendly, warm and fun to talk to. Lucie's daughter translated and was helpful, interesting. The main lodge is rustic, beautiful. Our room/cottage was also.
In such a beautiful spot, so quiet and peaceful. There is a lovely hike to the top of the mountain right next to the property. The food is delicious, some of the best fish I have tasted with such scrumptious sauces and salads. The family who are own this lovely place are wonderful. They really look after their guests and treat them like family. Very special.
Such a beautiful place in a beautiful spot. What made it so special and memorable for me was the incredibly kindness and overwhelming hospitality of the owners and their family. Such lovely people. The food they cooked was absolutely delicious. They helped me with everything, even ringing guesthouses on other islands to find me somewhere to stay. It is like a had a Tahitian family.
The location for this 1-bedroom stand-alone unit is ideal, being just 1km (by road, or 1600m by coast) away from the best beach on the island. We rented a car to get around, as you might be a little bit limited otherwise as the nearest restaurant is a couple of km away. The unit is spacious and fully functional, and the addition of an AC unit in the bedroom was appreciated. There is currently a lot of building activity going on at the front of the unit (as mentioned on their page), but the builders tend to wrap it up by 5pm.
Our hosts were most friendly and obliging and we felt at meals as though we were part of their family. Philippe did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
This is the opposite of a big chain hotel experience. You are in a very friendly family setting, immersed in french and polynesian customs and daily life experiences. The property is a kilometer or so off the main road, eased into the rear edge of the coastal plain, where the bush covered mountains tilt sharply up immediately behind you. Chickens and bees and birds and friendly dogs drowze in the shade. Very nice people. Brush up your high school french!
