The location is amazing -- right on the banks of the Amazon river. The lodge is completely screened in so you can experience the sights and sounds of nature (without all the mosquitoes). The family room is perfect for a family with 2-3 kids. Many other places don't have a pool and let me tell you -- the pool is a lifesaver to cool down in the hot afternoons! Our English-speaking guide did a great job personalizing daily adventures each day, from ziplining to visiting wild animals. The food was phenomenal! The chef was able to accommodate our pescatarian diet. Overall, they welcomed us like family and we would recommend the Avatar for a once in a lifetime experience!

Amazing jungle expierience! Gabi and her family were very attentive and they made sure, we were getting the best service. The place is in the middle of the jungle, so it's not easy to get there, but definately worth it! Beautiful surroundings, magical lake and the lounge itself create unforgetable memories. Falling asleep hearing the jungle noises was one of the kind. Breakfast was big and delicious. The only issue to me was a cold water under the shower, however, it was very hot outside, so it didn't bother me too much
