Isaac, the host, and his family were very welcoming. They have built the accommodation themselves and you could feel their love for the island in every small detail. Isaac showed us around the islands and explained a lot of customs and their lifestyle to us. We would definitely stay here again and recommend you to do it as well. The experience is extraordinary and way better than doing the tourists boat tours!

Staying at Lake Titicaca with Juan and his wife was truly one of the best experiences we've had anywhere in the world. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable, and the rooms were spotless—all the more impressive given that we were surrounded by nature on a lake.
We had plenty of free time to relax and soak in the serene surroundings, but when we wanted to explore, Juan was always ready to take us out and show us the hidden gems of the area. Their hospitality and care made us feel completely pampered. Don’t miss your chance to experience this amazing place and the warmth of such wonderful hosts!

The location is a floating island (Uros) and the houses are built on the island owned by (the family of) Carlos. You really feel part of the family! They took great care of us and gave great tips on where to go (like tour to the Island Taquile and Ruines of Sillustani): and arranged it for us (and transported us by boat to the Harbour of Puno everytime for free for that transit).
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The couple who own this lodge are very sweet and attentive. They took us around with their boat to meet their family at other uros. The lady's cooking was very tasty and an abundance. Gave us hot water bottles for in our beds at night. Brought tea in the evening. Took us to a family early in the morning so we could hand out the gifts we brought for the kiddos. Wish we could stay longer. Definitely recommended 😇😍
The location and view is incredible. The family was welcoming and very helpful. They introduced us to their 1 year old granddaughter who was just the cutest!! And there were 2 cats with 2 kittens on the property that really made it even more fun. We took boat rides during the day and at sunset which was incredible and watched the stars come out, even saw the milky way and a comet.. such a magical experience!
You'll stay on the Uros, on Lago Titicaca! Heat was not available, but the hosts provide hot water bottles to keep you comfortable. This is a glamping experience. It was fun to be picked up in a little motorboat from 'Tierra Firme'. The hosts are a wonderfully hospitable family.
The foremost thing we liked were the family (Juan, Elsa and their amazing children). They were super kind and what they have build on their island is amazing.
The typical boat tour was super interesting and de textile workshop was interesting, but a little expensive for what it contains.
The food Elsa cooked was amazing and delicious.
The room was better than expected. The view is great and the beds are comfortable.
Once in a lifetime experience! We absolutely loved and enjoyed to stay with Eddy and his family. They are very welcoming and caring. Food was delicious.
We will never forget the unique experience to stay at that magic place and see how the Uros live. Sunsets are truly spectecular :)
We had a little dress up with the mum of the family which was really fun! Kayak and the little ride with Roy was very interessting. They are really Life-artists and live with the condition of „cochamama“! We would come again!
It is an amazing, peaceful, beautiful location. There was enough room for our family of 5 (inc 3 x giant teenagers). The food was good, bit too much for us! The hosting family were friendly and chatty, there was a very calm friendly dog. It was a fab experience and we felt privileged. Loved the hot water bottles!
We had the BEST stay at Uros Lodge. It was in location where you were surrounded by the peaceful lake. Ifan and his family were so kind and the 3 activities included (the local tour, the kayak and the traditional boat ride) were great fun. The food was fresh and delicious. The rooms were very tastefully decorated with beautiful views and were very cozy in the night with the heater and the hot water bottles they kindly kept in our beds. One of the best stays I’ve ever had I would definitely recommend!!
Lovely family run homestay. The kids are super cute, we loved playing cards with them. Our room was big with plenty of blankets on the bed to keep warm. Simple but delicious food.
