Breakfast was excellent; coffee aside. As were the buffet meals in general. The hotel itself is an opulent old relic. Still quite a place. Wonderful pool when the staff weren't allowing guests to pump out music at ridiculously loud levels. Tree trek/zip line was great fun. Breakfast staff was fantastic as was Victor on the front desk. Comfy room, amazing river view. The brass monkey foot rest at the monkey bar, just one if many fantastic details.

The rooms were spacious with a balcony facing the river and a hammock to enjoy the view. The hotel is in a colonial style, which creates a very nice atmosphere. The pool is huge, great for swimming, chilling and also children.

This place is literally out of this world! it’s extremely beautiful, the lobby, the breakfast buffet, the view - absolutely stunning. We also used the free safari tour which was super fun. there are animals and creatures all over the place. Shoutouts to Juan from the reception who was extremely friendly - as was the entire staff at the hotel. We’d definitely come back to this place & even stayed longer if our budget wasn’t limited :)
